I absolutely love seeing our senior Cavaliers in the conformation ring reminding us of how beautiful they still are and showing us that they still have what it takes. Thank you to all of the owners that brought their veteran Cavaliers. Having a chance to go over them was one of the highlights of my day. .

This is a gorgeous Ruby boy that hasn’t lost a beat as he ages. A strong masculine but attractive head with large dark eyes and plenty of fill. Nicely balanced, he is well angulated with a solid topline and correctly sloped croup. He carries his tail correctly. He moves around the ring with purpose; true both coming and going. I was proud to award him BEST VETERAN IN SWEEPS

This lightly marked senior girl took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes moving around the ring. With her head held high she trotted true around the ring holding her topline the entire time. She made sure that we knew of her past glories. She flies in the face of all the naysayers that talk of unhealthy Cavaliers. I was proud to give her Best of Opposite Sex Veteran.

This handsome Blenheim has an attractive head with large dark eyes and the classic Cavalier expression. Nice angulation and a solid topline complete the picture. He moved well with good reach and drive.

Another handsome Blenheim in beautiful correct coat and great condition. He has a little shorter neck and upright shoulder but still moved out. Well presented by his handler.

A lovely temperament on this Ruby boy who clearly enjoyed being in the ring with his handler. An attractive head with large dark eyes and a face framed by nicely feathered ears. A tad straighter in the rear than the first two dogs in the class.

This Blenheim boy has a very pleasing head with plenty of fill and good length of muzzle. Correctly set ears that are well furnished. A beautiful soft expression. A little longer in the body.

A delightful Tricolor boy that is a little larger in size. In excellent condition for his age this dog can show the youngsters how to move with reach and drive. A pleasing head with a well angulated silhouette. It is so important to see these senior Cavaliers demonstrate how healthy they remain.

A very handsome Black and Tan boy with a correctly marked masculine head. Short-coupled with a very nice outline. A beautiful coat and well presented. Again, another senior boy defying everything that is said about unhealthy Cavaliers.

A lovely Black and Tan girl that caught my eye the minute she entered the ring. A very feminine head. In beautiful condition her coat was like a mirror. She moved true both coming and going and it was clear that she was enjoying her day with her handler. She was beautifully presented. This girl is a fine example of breed type.

An attractive well balanced Tricolor girl with a pretty head. She has a lovely neck which fits nicely into her well-laid back shoulder. She moved nicely and held her topline both on the move and stacked.

This is a lovely Blenhiem girl who like many of us older girls carries a little extra weight. She has a very pretty head. This girl has a good temperament evidenced by her nonstop tail.
