ACKCSC Futurity

April 13, 2026 – Kingsport, Tennessee

My deepest appreciation to the members of the ACKCSC for placing their trust in me to judge  the 2026 Futurity Class at the National. It was truly an honor and joy to spend the afternoon  evaluating the future of our breed. I would also like to thank my Ring Steward, Tina Sterling, for  her calm professionalism which helped me immensely.

I was extremely excited with the overall quality of the entries and I sincerely thank all the  breeders who stayed the course through the nomination process to bring me such beautiful  puppies. Though the puppies were obviously tired by the time Futurity judging began, they  gave me their full attention and melting expressions. Please continue to breed with all the  focus that you clearly have, and continue to support Futurity.

BEST JUNIOR/BEST IN FUTURITY  SHEEBA MASTER REUBEN (Robinson Saathoff/Robinson/Ostmann)

This handsome  Blenheim dog moved effortlessly around the ring, very well balanced with a lovely neck sloping  into well laid back shoulders and equally nice hind angles. His happy and confident manner  combined with his deep, dark, round eyes gave him the expression that made it easy for me to  make him my pick for Best Junior Puppy and Best In Futurity.

BEST SENIOR IN FUTURITY  TITANIA SHE’S ALL THAT (Jones)

A Blenheim bitch with correct shape of head, beautiful  large eyes deep in color and correct cushioning giving her the consummate Cavalier  expression. Her compact size does not lack in bone, she is well balanced with correct tail set  and carriage. This lovely girl could not be denied, earning her my choice of Best Senior in  Futurity.

Puppy Dogs 6-9 Months

(1) 81 SHEEBA MASTER REUBEN (Robinson Saathoff/Robinson/Ostmann)

This handsome  Blenheim dog moved effortlessly around the ring, very well balanced with a lovely neck sloping  into well laid back shoulders and equally nice hind angles. His happy and confident manner  combined with his deep, dark, round eyes gave him the expression that made it easy for me to  make him my pick for Best Junior Puppy and Best In Futurity.

(2) 11 SWEET SPRING UNIQUELY PORTABLE MAGIC (Vidler)

A nice, young Tricolor with  beautiful angles and a perfect scissor bite. His coat was very light but not surprising as he had  just turned 6 months.

(3) 75 CROWNROSE KING OF A BIG DILL (Rosenberg/Rosenberg)

A lovely Tricolor who was  well balanced with a nice length of neck and good tail set, though his tail carriage was high on  the day no doubt due to his happy disposition as he hopped on the go around. I will enjoy  watching this dog mature.

Puppy Dogs 9-12 Months

(1) 71 STARMARC THE HEART OF TEXAS (Hooper)

Very nice proportions on this well marked  Tricolor, with a good tail set and carriage. A well balanced boy with moderate bone.

(2) 85 COMPASS BLUE DIAMOND (Kenney)

A standard sized Tricolor with a melting  expression. Would benefit by spending more time with the handler.

 Dogs 12-15 Months

(1) 47 SHEEBA DON JUAN (Cahn/Ostmann)

A well broken Blenheim dog with a coat in  excellent condition. Beautiful dark, large round eyes with ample cushioning on a classic head  piece. Moderate bone, well balanced and confident

(2) 41 ONTHEMARK PETAL TO THE METAL (Chan/Hoorman/Mitchell)

This Blenheim dog was  very well balanced with a lovely neck, well laid back shoulders and good rear angulation giving  him nice reach and drive. On the day I preferred the confidence of my #1 dog in the class.

(3) 171 WINDKISS HELIX NEBULA (Patkowski)

Tricolor boy with a lovely straight moderate coat  and beautiful bite. He showed a wonderful, happy disposition, with maturity his top line should  improve.

(4) 219 CH CHADWICK A PERFECT GENTLEMAN (McCarty/Eckersley)

A nice sized Blenheim  with a beautiful, rich and silky coat. His head is smaller than I would like, though he promises  to mature nicely. .

 Dogs 15-18 Months

(1) 59 CROWNROSE AS YOU WISH (Rosenberg/Rosenberg/Venier/Venier)

A handsome  Blenheim boy, with a correct silky coat free of curl, long neck, well laid back shoulders with  correct tail set and carriage, held his top line on the move. With a soft, gentle expression, he is  one to watch.

(2) 93 KINGSMARQ CHRISTMAS WISH (Marquardt/Marquardt)

This Blenheim dog had nice  feathering on his ears, slippers and tail, though his well marked body lacked coat. A well  balanced boy with a good top line though slightly up on size for me.

(3) 95 SUNNYDALE ST JON WHOLE LOTTA SOUL (Bird/Wehking)

A lovely head on this Black  & Tan dog. He was not able to hold his top line, with maturity his movement should improve.

Puppy Bitches 6-9 months

(1) 124 CROWNHEIR FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE (Fadel/Fadel/Fadel)

A beautiful Blenheim bitch  with a lovely, well broken puppy coat. She was very well balanced, holding her top line level.  Her sweet, gentle expression and confidence in the ring impressed me in a girl so young.

(2) 130 SHEEBA OLIVE YOU MORE (Robinson Saathoff/Robinson/Ostmann)

This young  Blenheim girl with a beautiful coat was very expressive with a lovely straight top line. A happy  puppy who knows how to use her tail.

(3) 8 CROWNHEIR FAITH, HOPE AND GRACE (Fadel/Fadel/Fadel)

Another lovely, young  Blenheim girl with a beautiful puppy coat. Nicely proportioned, compact, playful and happy.

(4) 140 VALERA’S FLAME THE FIRE (Valera)

A Ruby girl rich in color, with large, dark round  eyes, nice length of neck and well positioned shoulders. This lovely girl should only improve  with maturity.

Puppy Bitches 9-12 Months

(1) 40 SARANADE MI AMOUR (Freberg/Glaser-Falk)

A Blenheim bitch with lovely round, dark  eyes giving her a beautiful expression. Nice length of neck and placement of shoulders. Her tail  carriage was a little high, most likely due to her age.

(2) 116 STARMARC SKY BLUE (Hooper)

A compact Blenheim girl with a sweet expression and  beautiful dark, round eyes. Nice turn of stifle, good tail set and carriage. Not quite as mature  as #1 at this time.

(3) 142 COMPASS DAISY IN THE ROYALE GARDEN (Kenney)

This nicely broken up Tricolor girl  held a straight top line but was lacking in confidence on the day

Bitches 12-15 Months

(1) 48 TITANIA SHE’S ALL THAT (Jones)

A Blenheim bitch with correct shape of head, beautiful  large eyes deep in color and correct cushioning giving her the consummate Cavalier  expression. Her compact size does not lack in bone, she is well balanced with correct tail set  and carriage. This lovely girl could not be denied, earning her my choice of Best Senior in  Futurity.

(2) 52 WINDKISS STARRY STARRY NIGHT AT KISSABELLA (Patkowski)

This Tricolor girl  moved well, moderate in size and coat, beautiful correct coat on this lovely girl. Preferred the  expression on #1.

(3) 148 CEILIMOR PERFECT MATCH (McCarty/Eckersley)

A compact, well balanced Blenheim  girl. Very expressive with dark round eyes and cushioning. Her coat was a bit unruly on the  day, perhaps due to age.

(4) 60 ST JON DELPHINIUM AT CARALOT (Wehking)

A very happy Tricolor, light on coat, nicely  laid back shoulders. This girl should benefit with maturity.

Bitches 15-18 Months

(1) 150 ST JON SUNNYDALE BLACK MAGIC WOMAN (Bird/Wehking)

A beautiful correct head  on this Black & Tan bitch with very dark, round eyes. Her neck is an ample length and falls into  well laid back shoulders. With nice rear angulation and a proper tail set, this girl moves well and  holds her top line

(2) 82 LIVELYOAK HIDDEN GEM AT STORMCASTLE (Borton)

This lovely Blenheim girl was  beautifully presented, gorgeous coat in perfect condition and rich in color. Nicely balanced  angles gave her effortless movement and a solid top line, though a little long in the body which  should benefit her in the whelping box. Her energy appeared to be low by the time she came  into the ring.
