"My interest in purebred dogs goes back to my first purebred dog, a Pug acquired in the early 1970’s and Cavaliers were added April 1974 with the purchase of a Blenheim bitch, Kilspindie Chatterbox, from Elizabeth Spaulding.   Two years later Kilspindie King’s Singlet, a tri color bitch joined me.   A little success at the first few shows and I was hooked by the sport. Today Cavaliers are my one and only breed.

I am a founding member of the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club and served as the club’s treasurer 1999 thru 2001. I am a lifetime member of Cornhusker Kennel Club of Lincoln, Nebraska and currently serve as Treasurer of Nebraska Kennel Club of Omaha, Nebraska.

The kennel name Felicity was chosen as the sport and particularly Cavaliers have brought an abundance of happiness to my life. On an average, Felicity Kennel breeds one litter a year and am happy to say that occasionally a Felicity bred dog has received recognition on the big stage. Ch. Felicity’s Scarlet Ribbons won an award of merit at the 5/7/1999 National under Mrs. Shealagh Waters, Ch. Felicity Carly, BOS under Maureen Close at the May 2002 National and Ch. Felicity’s Windstar was reserve winners dog at the May 2004 National under Mrs. Molly Coaker.   To date there have been 16 AKC champions (the majority owner handled), 5 CKCSC,USA champions and l AKC obedience title

I am delighted and honored to be ask to judge at the ACKCS 2018 Sweepstakes."
