Summary

Dr. Stauthammer completed his undergraduate and veterinary studies at the University of Illinois. He continued his professional training as an intern and resident in Comparative Cardiology at the University of Minnesota. In 2009, Dr. Stauthammer joined the faculty as an assistant clinical professor of Cardiology. Dr. Stauthammer has received several teaching, service, and academic awards. He is actively involved in Clinical Research at the University of Minnesota and provides excellent training and education to DVM students, interns, and residents.

Summary
Dr. Schoster has spent most of his 40+ years in the academic setting as a veterinary ophthalmologist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Minnesota and the University of Pennsylvania. Since 2005 he has been a Locum Ophthalmologist both for all species both in many private ophthalmic practices and academic clinical practices in the USA.
Dr. Schoster is keenly interested in clinical teaching as well as microsurgery.
Dr. Schoster has been an examiner for CERF and now OFA since 1978.
He enjoys fly fishing and working on his 1964 Volvo during his spare time.
